East Van Undies started with a vision for a small-batch, artisan-made underwear line that accentuates sustainability, comfort, and inclusion.
Made by hand and produced where we live and work, our brand of comfortable, uncomplicated intimates uses natural fabric (like bamboo and organic cotton) that everyone can feel good about rocking - no matter the occasion. We’ve crafted a selection of bespoke pieces that inspire self-confidence for all bodies, while reducing waste in the textile industry.
EVU runs small batches. We sew in Vancouver, and swatch colours and fabrics often. The result: soft, slow and locally produced fashion that helps people understand the importance of producing ethical and sustainable garments.
With an experienced team and over 25 years of experience in fashion and production, EVU has created locally made Love Light Yoga wear for over a decade. We’ve learned important lessons about local fashion, decision making, and the stages of production. The products have been designed, patterned, and sampled with local focus groups over the last several years.
It takes many steps, many hands and a community to shift our mind from fast factory fashion, to slow handmade goods by your local friends and fam.
